Bothy

Bothy: Sculpture in the Valley, Suffolk 2022 .

Once a term used to describe a farm worker's basic shelter. Now it is an unlocked refuge, a rest-stop or overnight shelter.

This bothy sits awkwardly, reminding us of how we try to renegotiate the spaces we occupy in our attempts to operate between two worlds: labour and rest.
